I'd lay the tools down for a bit & be pitching a sponsorship package to Monica's Gourmet Cookies based on all air time she's getting here.

Of course our resident nascar expert would be the first to bring up sponsorships :ernaehrung004: :lolhit:

You are too kind, I was thinking more like Resident Know It All!

To be honest I have zero marketing education nor any real experience, but a keen understanding of business to business opportunities. When one gets my attention I drop a subtle hint. Ok at times not so subtle.:cool-smiley-027:

Putting in the bow eye. When it was in the mold we put a few more layers of glass on the tunnel side eye locations and 10 extra layers for the center eye that go up the bulkhead and over the tunnel sides. Then we put a stainless plate on the outside and fiber glassed it flush to the tunnel. The side eyes have a 10" x 10" X.5" aluminum backing plate that is bedded in with epoxy, And the center bow eye has a 20" x 10" x .5" backing plate that is bedded in with epoxy. We wanted to be able to tow the boat through rough seas with a ship and not have it pull the eye out.

The billet aluminum we are using is a lot better then what they make cast out of. The water passage ways of the aluminum have a hard coat that salt will not eat. It is not a cruiser or pleasure boat owned by someone more interested in going to the bar when he puts his boat up then flushing it and cleaning everything. We will also spray everything down with a coating to prevent corrosion everytime we take it out.

At Cougar on the Aluminum Boats we would Etch, Then Alodine the whole boat. Not only did it help the primer stick better but helped protect the Raw Aluminum running surface. All Aluminum outdoor antennas are required to be Alodined or anodized. ive seen salt water get under anodize but was amazed at how well the Alodine could block it...

Since my fuel tanks went all the way up to the deck we had no room for storage in the side. We built a storage compartment between the front seats and back seats. Here are the lids for it.

I added a set of holes in the latch so it would have more leverage. Made a strike plate so the latch will not mess up the paint if its closed with latch in closed position and sanded a taper into the strike plate so it will pull the hatch down against the seal when locked.
