how about a little birdie told me that the 29 that ran over 100 had a computer from whipple that was for a 750 upgrade and a different blower pulley. The eliminator boat ran a stock motor

I remember that black bottom / white top and interior 29 with the custom swim platform you had.
Simply put...Artwork...I almost pulled the mid life trigger on that one. Next time it surfaces though I wont hesitate. |

In my opinion, OL will NEVER build the 29 ever again ... they will drop the molds into the bay for fish habitat ... all 19 of them :)
It's a great bottom, but that's about it. It needs a whole new closed bow deck ... that cuddy area is useless .. more fit for hamsters than humans. Where it will succeed is in an open bow configuration, which is why it came West in the first place. The OL Website had renderings available, just no orders. OL also did NOTHING to help Market that boat when the decision was made to move production West. The boat that is in CA is hardly a "state of the art" build. Even Dan admitted that they "slapped it together". Dash wiring is horrendous. There's epoxy streaks all along the inside of the cuddy in inside the engine bay. The carpet kit is not fastened down. The side treatments are coming off. The seat foam is barely 1" thick. Then there's the paint. Multiple chips litter the sides of the boat. The trailer is likewise destroyed. The boat has just 29 hrs of use ... sad, really. There's hope though. We have a buyer that is locked onto the boat and just wants it to be repaired so he can run it this season, then buy new in the fall. He tried to buy it last year, but PBC turned him away over a $5k differential. Nice ... |

I bet Outerlimits will build a SV29 again if they would ever get their mold back. What right does Eliminator have to keep property that doesn't belong to them? |

Did the same little birdie fill you in about the 29 mold?

Yes, they are at Eliminator per an agreement between Mike and Bob Leach. This was before Joe. My little birdie would speak on here but he is not allowed to voice his opinion. So he speaks to me and I type.
It's no secret where the molds are. The question is why wont they give them up? They need some more time to copy the bottom before they let them go? |
Bob Leach is one of the most honest guys in the boating world, He would never splash someones work. Your barking up the wrong tree
|
I'm just confused why it's gone this far in the game to return the molds. I'm not barking up any tree.
