Interesting to hear (read) all this about hearing loss. I though it was just me suffering in silence on the boat while everybody else seemed like it wasn't bothering them. I have a high pitch "sssssss" on both sides that never quits I just sometimes become unaware of it. Looks like we've all done the same things - rock concerts, guns, boats, cars, etc and were all "bullet proof" for too long. I understand music shops like Guitar Center sell musician ear pieces that allow speech but mute music. Anybody try any of those?
