I really would like to stick a big 4t eggbeater on one of these 21s, but think the added weight might change the way the boat handles
|
Those 21s are already quirky in the handling department so that could be sketchy.

My 21 donzi minx ran like it was on rails and never got out of shape, no matter how much of an ahole i was behind the wheel lol it had a 350 hp bone stock 454 and trs... would have been awesome with another 200 ponies Maybe the added weight of a 4t would settle it down some... i wonder how hard it would be to take an old minx and redo the rear end to hold an eggbeater... i bet i could have a bracket made to mount on the transom. but i think it would need more tq than an eggbeater has, as i think its a good bit heavier boat than the sb progression challengers... |
They are a narrow tunnel and they lean away from the turn so there is an issue of rolling if not careful.

http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...th-2-2-5-280-s Im might go with a donzi 18 with a stout sbc as small block are so cheap to build... im looking around... Some of these boats to really run the number you need to balance it on the pad... im gonna be running in washing machine slop so that isnt what im looking for... thx for the link cool old ride if he will sell it without power i might be in as you can pull more skanky skanks with an apache than dawn near any other boat except say a super yatch lol Walk into bar, saddle up on bar stool next to skank, say "btch i got a fokin apache outside, skank says "you want me to go down on you here, or in your apache", i say the apache is cool but hey, no snail tracks on the seat cushions btch... luv rm |
The Lavey Craft 28 EVO will run 100-105mph with a single Ilmor 710. With a Mercury 600sci it will run high 90's. I know it wasn't your exact boat description but it is a single engine 28' 10" V bottom that will run 100mph.

i know the sweet sixteens run in two footers no problem, they dont get squirlly, and the old ones had a 302 ford and volvo drive. im wondering if i could put a 250 or 300 on the back of one... |
