Well, now that spring is finally here I put the little Pachanga in the water yesterday. My best run last fall was 64.0 on gps. This is a bone stock 350 Mag. I just bolted up an Alpha SS drive and was looking for some free mph. With the SS drive and the same 23 Vengeance it would not hook up at all prop slip was bad. I changed the prop to a 23 Mirage Plus and it was much better although it was still a little trickey to get on plane. My best run this morning was 61.8 on gps.

So, if anyone with a Pachanga 22 was thinking of going to an Alpha SS, it doesn`t work as well as the stock drive. I guess the X-dimention is pretty high from the factory and the SS makes it a little too high.

What a cool little this is!I am so impressed, runs an honest low 60`s with a stock 350 Mag with mufflers

Kurt-
Before you codemn the SS as a bad move, try bolting up a REV4 prop to that bad boy- maybe a 22". The fourth blade may give you the little extra bite needed to unleash the potentials of the SS.
DO NOT bolt up a Brava One 4-blade propeller to an Alpha drive of any type...........=BOOM

The Reindl One Design boats are a true testament to the title of the thread. Never have I had so much fun in a small boat, and the handeling of the waves amazed me. The boat is a blast to drive.
