I'd contact Mike Livorsi first, if he says the same thing next step is the creative one.

My office is less than 20 minutes from Livorsi, I can head over there and puck somebody up if you want me to.

This is the deal here Robert. Had mine done couple years ago, simple wiring change in the speedo to accommodate the new style antenna, work fine now.

Mine has the same issue now, my shop says they can use "the green wire" from my Garmin and tie it into the Gaff speedo. They make it sound simple but have not made the repair yet. Will advise if it works.

Harden says these will work as well. Has anyone tried one of these as a replacement to your antenna? http://www.cpperformance.com/p-193-g...iver-2-14.aspx

Thanks guys.

I did the same, think it was $80-90 bucks. Tried it in my truck first.

the GPS sending unit just needs to have a "standard output" Nema 183. Many charplotters have this and some standalone antennas do as well. The one I posted thats avail from amazon has the standard output. some have rapid update and they will not work. It must be a standard nema 0183 update
