A GPS unit is the heaviest thing on a boat. Just bringing one aboard will drop 5-10mph off a boat's top speed.

I have a GPS that lies at times. I would think it's worth big $$$$$.

Here's a quote of a post I made a while back

Wan't bragging rights ? This GPS will give it to you !

Everyone says GPS's don't lie right ? Well, this one does !

Very rare GPS that lies !

You can own it for a small fraction of the cost that it would take to make your boat go even over 80mph !

Save tens, or possibly hundreds of thousands !

How much is it worth to you ?

The boat still made the run.... I am sure it is easy to take shots at it from behind the keyboard.....Those who were on board know the real story whatever that may be smooth as glass or 8' footers ..... Hats off to them for actually doing it and at a time when it was questionable with foreign relations... and I would say almost every record is beatable if you want it bad enough

It's no big deal going to Cuba. Even before OBummer lifted the sanctions. It's just coming back to the US that can be a problem.

Problem being the US not Cuba.

If the German is not a US citizen should be NP at all.

There is a small departure tax , but that should not have been a problem.

Soo. 300 thousand for a pair of engines and drives, another 200 for rigging. For a million 5 I would have hoped the paint would of held up a little better.

"The spot tracker worked the whole way and it is gps based just like the ones in the boat so how did they "mysteriously loose all gps signals in the boat" or have there gps "blocked by the government"? "

Maybe the dreaded Bermuda Triangle?
