I can easily be wrong as getting older or read wrong a thread
so activator did the single then double step in the mold
I read quite a few months back that ménage said something about the 2 steps
on a thread showing pics of the boat
so I guessed he added them or so he must have just changed them or something like u said
I raced a 1979 ex way back then and found the 1 I have now at a good starting price and restored it and pushing the hull past its limits
as why looking now for a 30,,,,,,
u still have the 29 fountain that had the delam spot?

My only point is that Activator never purchased molds from Excalibur or Wellcraft. Activator was building the 27 before Wellcraft had anything to do with that bottom. I could actually give you the exact story of the whole 27 Activator bottom but I prefer not to. The very basic story is that Mark had a friend who owned a 27 Excaliber and Mark made a plug off of that boat.

im not a historian so ill believe that
as said history as I knew so now know where act 27 started from a pop
really just looking for a 30 svl

there is the scarab that has been in the for sale section
but it is too heavy as a starting point,,,and I don't like the capsule they put on it,,,,
but no I have not come up with 1 here in the states
there is importing but im not going that route
been enjoying the 27 but want same weight widow with the cored hull just longer,wider,steps
picked up a 28 skater for now to put together till I find what im lookin for
still looking for hull only ,,,,,,

The former Way2Krazy, Boatfloater, No Vacancy Phantom is currently on display in Clearwater for sale... It is a complete setup and with the current power, good for P4/Class 4

Will Smith told me the owner wants $70,000 turn key ready to race. I hear the boat has been rebuilt and was done right, but I have not seen it yet.
