Have no problem with OSO. When I ask for info generally get great responses. Also enjoy event pictures and new / rebuild boat projects. From my perspective the confrontational posts are generally started to be just that - confrontational. In fact, these posts get the most action and views. Generally speaking if it's OSO, CNN, FB or your local news when you say something stupid you're gonna get call out on it.

Boat was a "demo" from Cigarette. Steve used it for a year, I think about 75 hours and my buddy bought it at the Ft Lauderdale show for 250K with 1 yr of warranty. He had "Guarado" (spelling?) paint it bright blue, copper: http://flpowerboat.com/gallery/displ...bum=171&pos=76
He kept it about 3.5 yrs and sold it to a guy in South Dakota who owned a roadside casino. Boat had about 325 hours on it, original CMI's and original drives when he sold it.

If I had to change anything I would have all new threads (UC excepted) start in the GD forum and move them as they develop, maybe move them to appropriate forum after 24 or 48 hours. I think there are too many categories to follow. A lot of threads that would interest me go unnoticed due to the myriad sub forums.

IBobi, it was great seeing you at the poker run over the weekend, thanks for the coozie, way to represent! Not,,,, I did see the owner of another site, hanging outwith a bunch of freaks from yet another site all enjoying offshore boats and the life style.... Heck I even saw a few people wearing T-shirts they were given from yet another boating website.

Im on many different forums and this one is by far the most helpful. Very little banter, and homerism compared to other websites. Generally get good advice here.

The site is very helpful and informative as it is. The only thing I would change or add is a engine section . Then have a fi section and a n/a section. Then have a LS engine section as well since they are becoming more popular as well.

If I ran OSO, I'd immediately reactivate the feature for users to edit and delete their posts and threads.

Like others stated, better viewing from smartphones. Shouldnt be that hard to redirect to a m.offshoreonly.com when the server receives the user-agent info.
On my Chrome browser, the user/avatar info covers the first part of the comments.

IMO the site loses it credibility when you know that if anyone has an issue with a sponsors work or product gets deleated. I know it's great that they give you guys $$ but that should mean they get the right to dictate what gets posted about them.
Oh I bet if you bring back Running hot racing things will pick up!!
These days I spend most my time on Facebook .... It's just so much easier.
