Baja27:
The fuel injection unit is a BDS product that uses a "bird catcher" injector strictly as a throttle body. External lines are plumbed underneath the injector hat and also into the intake reight above the head. It's a very cool system that looks for all the world like a top fuel induction system.

1965 Corvette in works. Tube rear, 4-link, new Fab-9 with aluminum center, 570-ish HP 408 small block, will be running an 8-stack Hilborn that is being converted to EFI as we speak.

I've done all the "rework", ripped out almost all the stuff that was in it when I got it. There are more photos on my web site at http://corvetteforum.net/classics/gregp/65corvette.htm

The oil burn is not (so far) an issue.
I need to go through the trans, so I figure now is a good time to go through the motor too .
Also, I have a buddy that builds KILLER NHRA stocker motors (he has held the A/S record MANY times) so he knows his way around a 427!
Oh yeah, time for a clutch too.
