I think so. May be a 29, but it was a Fountain.

Good Luck and be safe,,,,,
It appears this year, there will be a record number of high performance boats at the LOTO shootout events.
I spent a few days at LOTO this weekend,, and there were many boats out testing in the main channel ( 12 MM area).

The weather forecast is cooler temps than typical for August

And then, to find the records you need to go to:
http://www.lakeoftheozarksshootout.com/ , put cursour over 'Racers Information' then click on each of the years 'Race Results'

I don't have enough attention to do this. LOL.
The Classification for the LOTO Shootout can be confusing,,,,I have volunteered to be the in charge of "Racers Communication' for the past decade, and we have tried to make the registration simple and totally inclusive with the variety of boats, power packages , drives, and hull designs.
To look up the fastest V Bottom with a single engine, ,,, you would look for second digit being a 'V", and the second to last digit being a "
1" X V X X 1 B

For example if this was a Non Professional ( N) , Vee Bottom ( V), that was 29 feet ( '2") , Factory Motor ( F) , Number of Engines ( 1), and Bravo Drive ( B)
it would simply be N V 2 F 1 B- registration number

In 2015, I think the fastest single engine V was my Daughter Madisen @ 104
and in 2014 it was Rockie Nikkila at 91
and historically it must be the record of 109 in a single engine Baja ( 2005)

Good luck ,, it would be impressive to see a single engine V bottom top 110 at the shootout this year

You made me laugh, Doc.

The classification system for the Shootout is fairly simple but it reads like alphabet soup. The first time I had to decode it, back in the Powerboat magazine days a long time ago, I was like, "What the hell? This could be a whole lot simpler."

But it's all about inclusion, letting everyone compete, right? Give everyone a class and make it big—and that's what happened.

Lots and lots of buzz now on the single-engine V-bottom class. Should be a great Shootout.
