I don't know about lodging but there's plenty around. Several launches. Gene Coulon Park in Renton is where I go. Lots of parking and lanes. Nothing much to worry about under water except just West of the Coulon launch in front of the apartments and Boeing. It can get rough but nothing too crazy unless there's a storm. No wake zones under bridges, close to shore and through the cut. Half hour idle through the cut and you'll be in Lake Union/Seattle. From there you can park and walk to the Seattle Center. Another half hour idle and you'll be at the Hiram Chittenden Locks/salt water. Right before you hit the locks is where several of the Deadliest Catch boats are moored in the off season.

We were on a tour boat on Lake Washington in June, when visiting Seattle. I would think your boat would be fine, unless the wind was really blowing. We were out on a Friday and the lake was fairly quiet. Enjoy!
