Good to see new boats rolling out.

My .02 on the Fountain, NOT a fan of the interior fabric in ANY boat. Also, I don't like when the cabin entry is not centered in the cockpit. Where does the passenger put their feet?

Its great to see the new boats rolling out. The Alcantra is a very polarizing choice, look at the comments pretty much 50/50. As stated, my wife and I have experience with this product and it just did not hold up for us. We just pulled a deposit from a car 5 states away when I found out the steering wheel, center console, and door panels were covered with it. All the areas where the car is handled will look worn and "greasy" over very little time, that happened to us so never again.
I really like the 07 and up Fountain cockpits, one of the reasons we bought one!

Alcantara is more work than vinyl But, most people never do the work so it can look bad over time, steering wheels are the hardest to keep clean. seats and door panels are pretty easy, fabric cleaner, microfiber towel and a boar's bristle brush keep it looking new.

I agree about the cabin entry. Looked at a Fountain years ago, wife said no way. It had the cabin entry in front of the seat and she had no way to brace herself.

Stiill, it is great to see new Fountains and Donzi. I am sure they will make one however you want it.

Glad to see them building boats. The Donzi open bow may work although the same concept was abandoned my Sunsation.

The Fountain is just not good. Looks like someone tried to restore an 07 38. The paint might be okay without the logo and the interior is just sad for a manufacturer. I only say this to add to their feedback which I suspect they want. OSO is their focus group following LOTO unveiling. Looks like the boat ran well!

I like the big Donzi bowrider. Makes a big performance boat more practical with more seating

Plenty of area for the passenger on our 07, the older fountains with the 3 piece doors seem to be tighter on the passenger side but it might be more perception than anything on the newer single door style.

Here is a 99 42 Fountain with a good view of the passenger side, and I agree, that passenger "dash" is very small

Color choices are all personal preference. I give Fountain some credit for trying to do something modern with the interior. I'm not sure if that stuff holds up for someone who uses the boat a lot, but it looks nice I think. Half the boats out there are Fountains and they all look the same. Something different is refreshing.

The Donzi is a strange color choice for me, but I'm sure the owner loves it. I think the open bow will grow in popularity. I saw many boats this weekend at LOTO with open bow and mid cabins. Looks pretty practical for day boating and poker runs.
