There is a 75 boat maximum. There were 75 boat signed up last year, with several on the wait list. A few did back out on the day of the run, due to the weather, but this event does fill up.
The run date is Saturday, May 17th, 2003, with the kick off party at the bridge, the night before, Friday May 16th.
Chuck and Pam Poss are chairs for the run.
They can be reached at [email protected]
Please realize that if you were not a 2002 participant, I think you will have to wait until Dec. 1 to regisiter.
PS: This single event donated almost $20K to charity last year!!!!
Will, can we still use the dock next year for an OSO party? Tell your dad he can run with me, if the Fountain is in Florida by then. Hell, just buy a 300x for the Pontoon!

We will see, I may come up for the event. I am still trying to get acustomed to the FL style. BTW, I have been looking for a 2 door tahoe like your old one, they are a little hard to come by?

Will,
I hope Florida fits in with you. Yes, the 2 door Tahoe is hard to locate now, since no one builts a 2 door full size SUV anymore like it. DEFINATELY only get a 96-99. Do not get settle for an earlier one. The TBI is NOT up to par. Lots of luck! The Chevy dealers seem to have the best selection when I am out and about.

Hey Will, do you think you can make it back into town for the PR? It would be good to see you again. I hope we can do the pre-game party at your Dad's place again. It was a blast. If you are not able to make it let me know... if your Dad is willing to host us again, I will take care of on site incidentals and logistics.

4.5 hours, give or take. WELL WORTH the trip. The PR is great, well organized. The lake is beatiful. I have made the trip for as little time only having Saturday and Sunday morning on the water, (leave Friday night, return back to NoVa Sunday afternoon), and it is still worth the effort. Some debate on which route is better, 29 South, or 66 to 81. I have only done 29, and like that route.
