Ohio u need to have a oh sticker as well bUT don't have to be on the bow. I have mine on the window right by the bolsters

In Illinois you don`t have to have registration if your boat does not spend more than 90 days in the state.
I say prove that it does otherwise screw off with your taxes and registration.
I never state registered my documented boat.

The renewal is quite fast. It's the initial startup process that takes forever
