Anyone have experience with transferring ownership of a documented vessel.

Never had documented boat, but everything looks to be listed here to do a transfer.

There are also companies at LOTO that will do it for a fee.

Call Lake Ozarks Marine Documentation. They were a breeze to work with on my gun and new owner is using them also.

Funny thing is, KS wont send me my registration ( that I've paid for ) until I provide them a copy of the USCG doc. They had no problem taking my $$$ tho.

Edit: its winter, building new power, so Im in no hurry

why did you register if you are going to document ? its one or the other anywhere I know of, it takes a long time to get it done, My son just did it for his active thunder, be sure to print their bill of sale(they wont take any others) and have it notorized, figure 3-6 months on them getting it done...government operation...falling waters WVA

If its USCG registered you still have to carry on the bow the state registration expiration year, but no numbers
