That`s not really an issue where I boat, I see thee biggest issue the wide load permits and restrictions.
Can`t tow on holiday weekends, half day before holiday weekend, at night , says our toll roads only a maximum 10' .. well what the **** am I supposed to do , Illinois is full of toll roads, take side streets?
Seems the only way to do it is to to try to avoid the law. Or stay at a marina majority of the time.
If Loadmaster were to build me a new trailer they`d use a 17.5“ load range H tires rated at 4,805 lbs. per tire

I personally think that if you are going to tow frequently to multiple destinations you are shopping for too much boat. Short distances...no problem. I pull my boat everywhere and its a piece of cake, but its a lot smaller. The 13'5" height is only a minor issue with trees and at 9'6 wide I can skim through Chicago tolls with no issue and no permits. Jump in and go. I know there are tolls out east that I've driven my 92 foot race car hauler through that my boat won't go through without going around their wide load sections and dealing with all that permitting BS.
I think the width of a 370SS or similar would be a complete pain in the dick dealing with permits and tolls, not driving at night, holidays and trying to know what you can and can't do in each state. Once you do get your boat I'd love to hear your experiences with towing.
I want a bigger boat too, but I love to hit different lakes. I'm probably going to end up with a 34PC or 37PC in a slip and then a second go fast to hit target destinations...if I can ever afford that and the time to enjoy them. If I had a good size lake close by I wouldn't think twice about sticking it in a slip and skipping all the drama.

My brother owned the Riviera version of that 45 Excalibur for a few years. Big boat feel on the water, nothing fazed it but his was no speed boat, stock 502's, wet berthed and anti-fouled.
I'm always amazed with the big tow rigs in the U.S. and the size boats you tow. You may have already seen this vid but here goes.......... That's a damn big boat to tow.......

Your problem is not the overwidth boat.
It's living in that Great Chithole State.
Couple more weeks and you guys get your Junior Senator back.
Keep him in his Crib this time.
Oh
Happy New Year
