a trailerable boat at a marina? assuming the marina is close enough...the end of a midweek work day...no work, no prep...just unplug and go. Places you want to see...Friday afternoon pull the boat and go. Some work you want to do in the bilge...Sunday don't splash it back at the marina, keep it home for the week and do your tinkering. Yes there are added operating costs involved with this but I might suggest it offers you maximum opportunity to get value out of your toy. The only concern is the beam and over width...or dimensional permits...length could also be a concern.
Just my 2 cents...this what I am doing with my boat.

This is a very nice one owner boat that has dad the best of care. Powered with twin Yanmar 300hp diesels with Bravo 1 outdrives. If your in the market for a great looking performance boat don't miss this rare opportunity.

Tommy, did you circle them yelling "I fu cking told you!!!!"
Went to Shogrens yesterday, Scott gave me lots of good info and spent a good amount of time showing us some boats, I really appreciated that.
Crawled thru 2 38EC`s, 48EC, 47 Fountain.
The cuddy of the 47 is much larger than it seems in pictures, I really liked that boat. 4 bolster set up, red accents, huge sunpad and cockpit etcetc it was a beautiful boat. Way out my price range. Dream boat with some stock power.
The 38EC is our choice. More room then I thought, love being able to stand up straight, amenities, generator, ****ter, separate bedroom, more performance oriented hull , full hydraulic steering, real trim tabs, performance dash and gauges, doesnt seem too big tow... Really liked it.
With a pair of 496 HO`s should be very reliable unit and still hit 60mph no problem.

I thought it was very large. Loved the Cummins Diesels and Surface drives. Very bada$$. More boat than I need or want. Great boat to do some long trips on.
The one I was on was getting lots of new stuff, may be the one you are thinking of. New owner is having it refitted then going down the Mississippi all the way to the Gulf I believe.
