Default POP Yachts?

What do people think of POP Yachts, ie, do they actually sell any boats. The only thing I see is them list alot of boats for some crazy prices

They hit me up a few days ago to try and sell mine. I politely declined

Their useless. I called them a few times when I was looking to,purchase a boat they didn't know anything about the boats and wanted a deposit before even looking at the boat. What I found out is their basically a middle man that gets paid a percentage if the boat sells if they advertise it but they don't actually have the boats their selling in their possession or know anything about the boats. I have no idea why anybody would use them I'm sure there are better brokers out there that actually know what their selling and actually have the boat that's being sold.

Yeah, I called and emailed them on two boats they had listed, and never got a response. Now I see a boat listed with them, and I tend to ignore it.

If there is a boat listed thru them that your interested in post it up here, someone should be able to point you to the actual owner.

They are brokers that for the most part have never seen the boat, their main revenue is listing fees like autotrader. I used them one time and a guy in my area called me and bought it. Just another form of advertising.

Yes, they sell boats. Jeff just bought his 382 threw the POP guy at LOTO.

Lets put it this way.

If your the type of guy that has more money then time or no time at all., Don't like to dicker with people, don't want to answer 10,000 emails, calls, text and get no where, Don't want to take 168 photos of your boat, Doesn't want every Tom, Dick and Harry over walking all over your chit. Don't want the hassle of the paper work, title transfer, USCG paper work, registration, Verifying funds/money, ECT Then POP Yachts is for you and selling your boat. Its like trading your car in at the dealer and taking the lowest trade in value avaiable vs selling it on Craigslist.

How ever they do all the advertising, calls, meet and greats, showings, paper work, money, paper work. All you have to do is collect a check from Pop once it sells

Also be ready for POP to take 15 or 17% of the sale price for commission. I was surprised at the % Jeff said.

So at the same time your paying that much more $$$$$ for the boat if your buying off them in my eyes.
