Bill don't know if you have a ride or not, but we are taking the motor home down Sat. You are welcome to come along. I am trying to talk Dan into going, if Eliminator 219 was going to be there I know he would go. It sure sounds like we won't have any trouble finding a race.

Maybe none of the "skater boyz" were around when the yellow AO handed it the the 21. But I was launching my boat by the beach and I saw the yellow boat in front!! So did 5 others! You have to give the yellow AO credit! A d#mn 8000 pound 31 footer hanging with the little rocket ships!! I thought it was impressive!!

Put 3 people in the 21 then throw in "A" 2ft roller...see who's at the end of the lake and who's at the bottom of the lake. I ran a 21 skater with a pair of 2.4 bridgeports at lake cumberland 2 yrs ago, of course he jumped on me with 7 people and he was alone, he pulled me by about 5 boats in acceleration, but disappeared behind me when he had to go over a couple of boat wakes. I never saw him again running back to jamestown at an 80MPH cruise.

You would be amazed at what that lil 21 will do, even in the rough stuff.
I guess we'll all find out the "truth" on Sunday!
Talk is cheap, let's run 'em.

This is getting better as it goes on...I hope people don't get turned off by some dreary weather, would love to see the 20th become a great success and bigger than last year!

Whats up with the DNR? Because I'm sure they'll just LOVE my 10.5:1 632 with Dry CMI'S..... How much is a ticket if I decide to put in anyway? Otherwise it may not be worth driving all the way up there.....

jdnca1-
Chit, I would think anybody that would ticket a man for playing the music that a 632 cubic inch big block Chevy produces, just ain't American.
I am checking on the price of this ticket and will post my findings in this thread..
If the DNR is heavy at the main ramp, you could always put in at one of the other four ramps that nobody will be using.

The skinny
Mufflers, decibles, and fines...
OK....
The DNR officer just told me that it is a stationary test, engine in neutral, running for a minute to let the water come out of the exhaust, (hehe, not on yours), they hold the sound measuring device no more than 40 inches from the end of the exhaust. 90 decibles maximum. This is all in section 1547.31 on the Ohio DNR's website.
Quoting from the Ohio Administrative Code-
(J) Whoever violates section 1547.31 of the Revised Code is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree on a first offense. On each subsequent offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
A fourth degree misdemeanor is $0 to $250 fine and 0-30 days in jail.

Dude, do not put in at the marina if this is your worry. There are two other nice ramps to put in at. If you are worried about DNR, then let me or others know, there are other ramps to use.
