On the supra I would use them on initial startup after a fresh motor, cut them apart. Amazing how cheap they are compared to other filters. I had cut enough of the same exacts same Fram filter apart to see the differences in tolerances. It was amazing! Different number of pleates, some with machining shrapnel on the threads just hanging there. Had a few leak at the seams. No thanks.

Long story with marine V 6 engines way back in years -- when that engine changed the spring in the oil pump in which raised oil pressure but when one used a Fram oil filter for the V 6 --- oil pressure gauge would PEGGED totally. Anyways it was a Fram filter problem for causing the very high oil pressure readings. Short jist of it |

I won't ever buy a Fram filter. Ever since they had that issue in the 90s where their motorcycle filters were coming apart, and actually caused several (bad) accidents, they are off of my approved vendor list.
Just like I won't ever buy Greenies dog treat products; same reasoning. 1 strike and your out. |

We were buying all natural treats, and now have them on carrots, green beans, and rotisserie chicken for treats; and then their primary food. |
