I might hit the Grass Drags this weekend. I pulled the sleds out a week ago. The clutches are being rebuilt and the rest is being readied. Hey Rob, want to go or would you rather boat? I could do both, we went out last night looking for KAAMA and he didn't show so we went for a ride anyway. Flat as glass.

Airpacker and Mitch,

Let's keep in touch and do a ride together this winter. Have you guys ever been to Quebec? Some GREAT riding there as well. I would love to ride with you guys. Have fun on your last boat blast this weekend!

Jon,my season started in Arpil, yuors started when I did 4 oil changes before you even turned your keys

Shane,ya Quebec is nice but in the last 3 years the trail system in Ontario has been injected with about 25 million govt. bucks for improvements.Ours are way better than theirs now and its easier to read the signs

Airpacker,

REALLY? Coming from Albany, NY how far would you reckon it is to get to where you do most of your riding? Is there anything within a reasonable driving distance?

Shane,I did Balston Spa to Toronto in 6.5 hrs in my Mohome last summer. From Toronto to where I usually ride(the Muskoka Sno Region)
www.MSR.com and www.ofsc.on.ca
is 2 hrs and to where the real Northern trails start is another 3 to 4.Our week long trips are usually from hotel to hotel, ride the day, party the night if u can handle small town parties that is.Check a map,we usually start a trip from a town called Kirkland lake, then head north and west to cochrane, hearst, kapaskasing.timins etc.A long loop ride of 1500 to 2000 km(1200 to 1600 miles) in a week. All hotels are pre booked to avoid hassles.Theres several sled deqalers in nearly every town.Fuel is readily accessible and you need it because trail speed is unreal(60 to 100mph).
You gotta ride it to believe it.

We've got our grass drags on 10/27 - 10/28. If anyone in the area is interested, drop me a PM.

Pulling the boat next weekend
