Thoughts on 496 HO and other engines in stock form?

They will still make them but $$$. Updated pricing is on their website. The intake is a very nice piece and you can really see the time and effort required to build one.

There were a few methods of extrude honing the stock intake. Then there were a few people porting them too, but they would cut the plenum off the bottom so they can get to the runners then weld it back on. If they could get a hundred more horsepower out of the stock intake I still dont know if I could use it - it is one ugly son of a gun.
Somebody should summon Vortech Bandit. He has modified the 496 as much or more than Raylar. Extremely creative guy and spent a lot of time but really got the 496 pumping.
