He keeps his usual cruise speed, gets better fuel burn, turn key proven power, smart craft set up, and room to grow again if he wished.
This seems like a no brainer to me. I love the 700's package.

repower
I always loved this boat! I actually wanted to buy it but was too late.
Were those 1150's really that much maintenance? I have TCM 1250 pump gas motors in my boat and they are turn key and require no more maintenance then Mercury motors, change the oil in the engines and drives routinely and impellors once a year. These TCM motors have never once had a hiccup in 5 years I have owned them and are good for 300+ hours.

The boat is only 32' so the power really felt like overkill. Now we will have warranty and be able to run Mercury electronics.

The carbed blower motors were a bit tough around the docks with no rub rail and the fact it's usually just two of us on the boat. Also, the lack of 93 on the water where we boat is a huge obstacle.
