I was going to go Mantus but with the half ring structure it would't fit in my anchor box. After researching here I wound up with a Fortress, 15' of chain and a Mantus swivel.

I'm worried about the half ring also. That's why I'm going with a smaller than suggested model. If I have to remove the ring than so be it. Or maybe I can use some type of cam lock fastener for the ring to make it quick.

I believe the ring is what makes the Mantus self right. Without it, it's just like everything else.

Kevin thanks for the heads up on contest. Just put in for it.
I recieved my free t shirt today, cool shirt, no anchor yet. Maybe tonight or tomorrow. Can't wait to drop it in and see what it will do.

Not for me, I work on the boat enough out of the water. The last thing I want to do is assembling and disassembling an anchor on the water.
