I hope he read the post about a baseball bat at 3.am. Someone should go ring his door bell and run away just to mess with him.

I actually went right by there this morning visiting one of my customers. That area is a huge industrial area, there's probably 20 or 30 shops in that whole complex and hundreds in a couple square miles. Actually Statement boats are built almost right across the street from there too, and there's some other boat places in the same place.

I have to say that I am surprised at this thread. Jeremy has worked on several of my boats and I've never had an issue with him. He's always been responsive and did a good job. He even came over and helped me fix a starter issue that I had over on the 4th of July this past summer.

Could it be an issue of Jeremy prioritizing some customers over others?

Sounds to me like HE just knows that a customer that isn't in the area and too far to jump in the car and check up on the work is not going to go after him when he screws them.

Sorry to read about your troubles. Another story where deceit is ruining a person fun in such a great sport. I know the anger on being deceived. Mine fortunately was very little money. Some of the guys posting on this link know I had a similar situation last year. I to Googled him with no luck. Dirtlawyer I would have to question if a guy in business is so good why is he so hard to find. Please share your experience on beware and stolen to help others. Please make sure you read the rules on beware and stolen posting.

I know nothing of the companies mentioned in this thread. Have know Scott Tubbs personally for years and am comfortable standing up for him as a family man and person of integrity. Not surprised that he is portrayed in a positive light in this thread and appears to have tried his best to assist.

From what I know, Jeremy is an independent mechanic just like the other guy I use. I assume that they both got tired of working for someone else and decided to go out on their own. May not have the desire or the need to advertise. Don’t know.
