Let's get a list of people and boats headed to LOTO next week. I will arrive Monday evening and be at Camden until the following Monday. Mad Props should be in a slip at Camden but not sure which one is ours yet. Please come by and say hi.

As for the week the general plan will be as follows so feel free to join up and/or introduce yourselves.
Wed eve at Street Party.
Thursday blasting around lake but likely at Coconuts at some point.
Thursday eve at PBC party
Friday we will probably go over near Dog Days in the morning about 1030 and find some boats to run with up towards Dicks.
Friday afternoon we will go to Dog Days
Friday Eve at Camden
Saturday early we will head to the Shootout. Hoping to hire a Helo if I can get some peeps to run and chip in $$$ to film the ride to the raft up.
Saturday Afternoon skip out of Shootout before 2 to beat the extended No Wake zone and head to one of the restaurants
Sat evening at Camden and ??
Sunday Shootout and run around before loading on Trailer

Hope to see you at one or all of these places.

Griff 08-16-2017 10:51 PM

I'll be there probably Weds afternoon and hit the street party..........ummmmmmmmmmm meet and greet :ernaehrung004:
As for the rest of the week, we'll figure it out as we go. Probably Dog Days on Friday night and Camden Saturday night.

As has been the tradition for last several years, it a guys only trip and riding in baywatch's 36 Apache.

Kelly O 08-17-2017 05:46 AM

Will be there Monday-Monday, looks like our paths will cross a few times Cash. Looking forward to checking out the repower and running some with you.

Arrive Wednesday around noon. Hope to see your new ride at Ron's Friday afternoon, if not before then. Will be at the street party, PCB party, and around various watering holes thru Saturday evening. Will be on a buddy's 303 Formula and possibly another buddy's 38 TG. Saw this cruiser next to our slip at Land's End last year. I think it says it all!!

.

Nate5.0 08-17-2017 07:23 AM

This time next Weds we will be in the air on our way. Me, the GF, another board member here, his wife, and a buddy that goes with us every year.

*Staying at Camden of course. Thurs - Sun.

*No boat but rented a Tri Toon for the shootout which for us will work well to enjoy the show and sounds.

Coconuts as soon as we get in Thursday as well as going to PBC.

Friday is our hotel day, will hang out at Camden for the day (prob find me on a pool bar stump), check out the new parties going on, then head to dog days at night.

Sat is the shoout and then whatever comes our way.

Cant wait!

36Tango 08-17-2017 07:57 AM

Our 28 outboard Skater refurbish project is still in paint, but still plan on having it at the Street Party on Wednesday and then run the Poker Run on Friday. No doubt that it is the best week of the year at LOTO!

ben 08-17-2017 08:04 AM

I'll be down Tuesday evening, staying across from PBC.
Wednesday, burn some gas eat some food and end up at the street party.
Thursday, burn more gas and PBC for the party that evening.
Friday, Poker run and Dog Days that afternoon, no plans for that night yet.
Sat, Watch the shootout and super cat fest!
I'll pull the boat out early Sunday morning to avoid the mess at the boat ramp all day and head home, got to be back at work Sunday afternoon.
Cant Wait!

ALL_IN! 08-17-2017 08:07 AM

We arrive on Wed evening for the street party - after that night, we have no plans. We're riding with local friends in a new Sunsation CC.

VortechSS 08-17-2017 08:12 AM

Arriving Thursday. Nearly the same plans from there on. Hoping to not get busted for being too loud this year! :p

Interested in pitching in on the Helo run assuming I'm fast enough to keep up!

gmgearhead454 08-17-2017 08:16 AM

We'll be there our usual group of trainwrecks. Getting down there Thursday around noon, staying at Lakeview resort and probably just blasting around the lake all day Thursday, we'll go eat wherever we see the most action at. Friday morning doing the poker run, probably eat at franky and louies, then Saturday the shootout. Probably go anchor out in a cove and wait out the no wake bs, or maybe go chill at Bear Bottoms till its lifted, then blast back. Going home sunday after the races end. Can't upload photos but we'll be in my new 29' warlock world class, can't wait!

Keytime 08-17-2017 09:35 AM

Showing up Thurs evening most likely. Sold the Checkmate, so will be running around on Friday with Marc in Still Wobbly, his 42 Fountain, and likely spectating on Sat and Sun near the finish line with Team Runnin' & Gunnin'... the usual suspects.

Cash, we'll be nearby on Friday morning. Might idle by and say hello. Not fast enough to hang for long, though. Might also head to Paradise, grab some breakfast, watch the show, then head upstream. Might have a Powerplay (or two) tagging along.

KCHOTBOAT 08-17-2017 12:47 PM

I am still here from the last shootout. We live at the 31mm. Hope to have the boat ready by then.

kilo 08-17-2017 02:32 PM

Greg... I hope your ride to LOTO is not another han-solo voyage....

We arrive at around 10am on Thursday, launch at PBC, head to Camden to check in and then B-Line for Coconuts.
From there it will be PBC and back to Camden for the evening.

Friday is ripping the lake, Dog Days always in the mix and again I'll be at the Camden bar for the evening pool party.

Saturday I'm driving PP in the Shootout with Skater Dave and hoping for a good, safe number.

My Skater (gold/white/black) will be parked at Cat Fest and I'd be appreciative to meet as many peeps as I can. Feel free to stop by and say hi.

Safe travels to all.

WARPARTY36 08-17-2017 02:59 PM

We'll be there Wednesday around noon. Staying at the Ledges. Greg, my schedule sounds the same as yours.

adamseraphine 08-17-2017 04:25 PM

I'll be there from Wed to Sun with the SV40. No real plans other than the street party and some Outerlimits events on Friday. Looking forward to not having a firm schedule all week and kind of doing what I want, when I want.

halffast 08-17-2017 04:52 PM

Leaving Ga. Thursday around noon. This is our first time going ,can't wait . Bringing my Talon 22 to the shoot out . hf ...

PARADOX 08-17-2017 05:21 PM

WE (me and GF) getting in Thursday early PM, and hit the town running. Rented a boat, (runabout, but it floats) :) so we will be on the lake, staying at Tan Tar A. Will try to hook up, but just call for some input and details ( 904 600-6915) BTW, it's a 21 boat but we could make some room for 1 or 2 "guests".

chattviper 08-17-2017 05:59 PM

Stay away from Kilo....he is trouble.

We are rolling in on Tuesday night, launching boats on Wed morning. Will have Mike Goldbaugh 368 Skater and Chad Collier 44 Mystic with me as well.

Only plans I have is the MTI run on Thursday.

Our house right next to Camden...so I'm sure we will be there a lot.

See everyone there!!!

I'll finish the rest tomorrow when i put on the new grab rails and some other little stuff. Hope to see some of you guys there!

Also, any places getting the fight saturday night???

Knot 4 Me 08-18-2017 07:40 AM

Where are the MTI's running to on Thursday this year?

high bid 08-18-2017 08:03 AM

I'll throw a tow rope in - just give me or any of the Skater crew a shout.

Hope to see you all out running this year. Ran into the group last year by accident at Fish during your lunch stop. Nice mini-boat show surprise.

Definitely get a group together for Friday.

I'm sure the fight will available somewhere. I would assume Toad's may have a room setup with it for cover charge etc. Or they should.

They don't, talked to them about it yesterday. Coconuts is a maybe and said they will post it on FB if they do get it.

As of right now all I have found for the fight is Wicked Willies near the bridge on Oseage beach. We are wanting to see it as well if you can tell lol.

I'm staying at redhead as well, If you need an extra passenger in the MTI I'd be happy to buy a few rounds. Been in a lot of boats but a big cat is still on my list! :ernaehrung004:

You will figure out whom I am. Lets just say I know a thing or 2 about all Marine 496's and actually maybe a tad bit more about this marine stuff. I had to mess with you about all that work you have done. .It seems to keep you busy

AZMIDLYF 08-18-2017 01:06 PM

BUP, will your Lavey be up and running in the Shoot Out?

hvymtl939 08-18-2017 03:51 PM

We rented a deck boat, but I would love to trade beer/gas/cash for a ride on something cool!

jus491 08-18-2017 04:19 PM

I will be headed down wed night. (sad we are going to miss the street party) staying til monday. we made it a guys weekend (figured the women would get bored watching boats all day) so i will have 7 or 8 guys and two 29 outlaws staying at kipilana resort. I havnt been down to loto in several years and the rest are all first timers down there so i would be open to any advice/ plans we hook up with. i have never been down for the shootout so any advice is appreciated. looking forward to getting back to loto

Justin

Our plans just did not align for completing the build for the events I had planned. . The interior has been a very long process. Most sportboat builders do not have an in house interior personal anymore.so this automatically put other areas of the build on complete hold. The interior was in line behind many other boats.

So you have seen my Skater but here are pics of Yvonne and I in case we run into you out and about

JaayTeee 08-18-2017 05:50 PM

I'll be down Thursday afternoon, probably over to performance later, don't know where Friday will
take us, Sat and Sunday, on the race course

liquid prozac 08-18-2017 07:55 PM

I will but without a race tune the message i posted on chief performance teaming up thread posted by Speed On The Water is below and needless to say i'm pissed but i will be there!

well I have heard great things about Tommy and wish he was still involved! I own the 47 GTX Outerlimits XXX and i have the 1500/1250 Chief 632 CI quad Whipple motors recently gone through. First u buy a program for say $20,000.00 then you pay for tuning. Refresh the motors and change the cam slightly based on their recommendation and then spend $5000 for Ben to come to town for a couple days and to justify it he claims the tune is bad and he could of spent a week tuning the motors. At $2000 day i bet he could. but if the tune is junk WTF was the $20k for and then claims well i don't know what you did to the motor so i have to start over ( we changed the cam to what u suggested) thats all NOTHING else other than replacing worn parts fuel pumps, water pumps, servicing injectors ect. We also find out one motor is internally balanced the other one externally (thats a 3k bill to correct) now my computer has a race fuel tune and a pump gas tune but because he does not talk to or respond to the customer when on the dyno he fails to even look at it. Now Texas outlaw challenge was coming up in a few weeks i was told he would be here to do some in the water tuning that was included in my bill. I wanted to raise the rev limiter and run race fuel for the shootout not only did he not show up he didn't even respond to me or the shop Gulf Coast complete Marine until AFTER the shootout was over! SO here we are getting ready for LOTO and the same **** the ******* doesn't respond to countless messages nor has he ever looked at the race fuel tune or given me a way to raise the rev limiter he has the system i BOUGHT locked u can't do ANYTHING without paying him its fing extortion ( i requested simple access to idle speed rev limiter not the ability to steal his program). The answer you question how will it work........ its a disaster and i would not recommend anyone buy anything from them! This is in no way a knock on Tommy as i heard nothing but great things about him but he sold his company and reputation to a complete *******!
