Two different engines in the pics. Seems like the failed ones I've seen all seem to crack near the tip . Maybe the weak area on them ?

i used a set in my buddy,s pro charged 565,broke one in a few hours.he said he did not trust them so we replaced them with the comp steel ones.for hyd roller engines i think they are ok but i won,t use them on a solid roller deal with 700+lift again.add in,the one that broke busted the bottom out under the trunion.

Yea Joe, mine failed on the other end where the steel pushrod receptacle is pressed into the aluminum.

My engines should be out soon to go into another boat hopefully, I plan to inspect my scorpions...

I have a ISKY cam but I don't have the specs on it. Its definitely not real radical. I have the wet stainless marine exhaust but I do have longer pipes where the water exits closer to the tips. I think my motors made 610 hp at 5400 rpm with 5 lbs of boost.
