Totally inaccurate from a historical perspective but still entertaining. It was still better than what ever else I would of watched tonight.

Seriously? the sound effects and engine sounds are not even close to accurate, the 60ft waves during the boat race were so fake I was floored, Movies from 1975 had more accurate effects, this is 2018..

If another Cardshark-esque incident ever happens and you get to them before the cops, this is the movie you play full blast on repeat while they’re duct taped to the chair until you get answers. They’ll talk.

I saw all the posts warning that it was a bad movie but I rented it anyway. Was it great? No, not at all, but, compared to the other movies coming out of Hollywood these days, I've seen worse. Corny and predictable? Absolutely, but again, most of the television shows and movies being put out are complete crap as well.

Seriously!? Are we discussing the same movie? Speed Kills with John Travolta? There's a reason it went straight to "rental".

After seeing the bad reviews I had to rent it. What a POS!!!! I picked a time with not much on. 5pm. I sometimes watch Big Bang Theory reruns but have seen them several times. Despite this, I should have watched Big Bang over this POS!

Movie was horrible . Made my wife watch it with me. Can’t say I was surprised . I also watched “ Gotti” featuring Travolta and it was awful as well for what could of and should of been an epic gangster movie . The race scene to Nassau was laugh out loud funny and personally i was embarrassed cuz I hyped up the movie to my wife !! Lol . I didn’t even look at her during that scene . I pretended I liked it

If you guys ever want a real movie with boats you need to start raving about the boats and races. Blast the acting all you want but if you boycott this, or talk crap, no one will make more. Go on movie sites and critic sites and say how you loved the boating and sure wish they make more etc. otherwise we will never see any good boating footage in a movie.

Motorsports and powersports are a tough sell for the big screen. There is no way anymore performance boat movies are going into production in the near future. The fan base is dwindling more as time goes on. Enjoy the real life boating while we all still can. Everyone was hoping for a badass gangster feel of a movie that you could quote and watch over and over again. This movie was terrible. Acting, editing, effects, costumes, props, everything. Sugar coating it does a disservice to society.
