The attwood says it recomemnds a In-Line Surge Protector w/ the vent, that it doesent prevent nsplash backs, not my main problem too,so im betting it want prevent fuel from seaping out when over filled and gas swelling from heat making it come out.


Im thinking that when its full and the gas swells in the tank it will still push gas out the vent even w/ it being 2 feet above the gas level,or even a loop, but the fuel filter catch might work, but it might restrick flow of air when filling, or when the filter would have gas in it and keep it from breathing?
