Worth is where they launch for the Loop Cruise each April.

Launching in East Chicago we would either head to navy pier/playpen or head east toward portage Indiana boaters beach. Either one is a lot of fun and only about a 15 mile ride.

We have a small boat (26 ft) so 15 miles could be difficult to navigate on Lake Michigan. However I was told that unusually warm days i.e. wind is coming out of the South the lake is calm around Chicago. Maybe we'll try East Chicago and a 15 mile hike on a warm day, thanks.

East Chicago gives you best options, downtown or the dunes, short ride. Worth ramp sucks, to much crap in the water, if you have extra props & drives go for it.

I`ve done them all and I like East Chicago also. We usually go to Boaters beach or $hitcago if something is going on but usually try to avoid downtown. When I absolutely have to launch downtown I used to do 31st but now the parking is horrible and they close more than open lately. So I hit Burnham, it may be a bit daunting with the circle jerk in the middle there but I just end up blocking everyone and waiting for an open lane. Screw `em.
My only issue at 38' is I hang out way past the dock so when it`s windy its a real ***** but what isn`t downtown $hitcago. Spend your money elsewhere, they don`t want out boater $$$ .

I just noticed the "I love global warming" sticker on your trailer, that's good.
