Panther
None that I can remember the Bertram is all USA they even claimed the Deck had some Aerodynamic Engineering (Claimed key word here)

But Influences are a much different matter! The Bertram with the Straight Strakes way back then and the more recent boats does in fact cause one to wonder?

Kurt bought Dry Martini several years ago and recently brought it back to racing standards. He even has the original AeroMarine engines. Ya gotta love the trailer.

Basically Kurt ownes the boat and lets the boys in the shop run her as long as they fix her up after the race.

Question "Banana Split"

Not sure if it was a race-boat, but saw it many times hauling ass out of Port Everglades in the late 70's, as I sat at the end of the jetty thinking "someday..."
Do any of you know anything about this boat ?
I think it may have been a Cigarette ?

Thanks,
hans

Timucin, Arasaki was actually two boats. The first was super heavy and never did much. The second was built in the same mold but had a lighter layup. The paint was very similar but obvious when you see side by side photos. I haven't seen the boat in years. Its probably under a tarp at Kurts or back in Japan.
