^^^^ i remember the thread as well. joined in 09 and thought it was around the 2010- 11 timeframe.
lost track of it when he was building the trailer for it.

Dude, you're like the OSO whisperrt lol!! That is the boat I was talking about. I'm almost positive so many people said it would be unsafe and couldn't be done that he gave up. I'd like to find the thread and have looked a few times. No dice.

I found a rusted navigation light base on the beach the other day. Should I build a boat back around it?

Did anyone else wonder how it performs with teh engine bracket riding low? Seems like the bottom will drag or perhaps keep teh stern too high at speed.

Hey , it was a FREE boat . Just imagine how much he saved instead of buying a new one !

And I think that a rusty bow light found on the beach is a great starting point for a rebuild. Hell , I once did it with only a transom drain tube !
