Highest quality boat build

Highest Quality?
It is generally accepted that neat wiring is an indicator of quality rigging. I am not certain that is totally accurate. Wiring is something that anyone can asses with a visual inspection, so of course most manufacturers will do a neat install. Hull rigging that is improperly done will unfortunately be something discovered years after neat wiring has lost it's shine. I am admittedly partial, but there are lots of 20, 30, and 40 year old Cigarette's still running strong with minimal rigging or hull issues. I can not recall hearing horror stories with pictures of hull failures and such that have been attributed to poor quality rigging from this iconic manufacturer. Look at the efforts that Phil will put into a 10+ year old T/G restoration, and see how much it brings and how long it lasts in his classifieds. With the exception of Apache, few manufacturer's can claim the dedicated allegiance that owner's and enthusiasts have to Cigarette. Jury is still out on the newer manufacturers like O/L, Nortech, DCB, Progression etc, although most look to be rigged carefully and properly. Let's check in again in 20 years! As always, JMHO.

Got a buddy with a 38 TG TS that just had to redo the deck due to multiple voids where the laminate was not properly rolled into curved surfaces, edges, corners, etc. Never would have thought that of Cig until I saw the pics. His quote was the "C Team" must have been in the layup shop that day. Any of the manufactures can have issues with so much manual labor involved.

When i bought the boat from Robbie I got spme cut put samples of the transom, bulkheads, deck, and liner. I'll post some pics today or tomorrow.
***Disclaimer... this thread was started as a result of a lot of beer and THE 288 KID, lol. But I'll keep it up since people are actually posting pics of their own stuff which is cool

The wiring sucks
okder ones rotted easily due to foam and drilled holes never sealed
the hull to deck joint has been a huge problem in SR1 and Fas-techs
not a horrible boat but it’s very production, you should NEVERA HAVE TO SPLIT THE HULL AND DECK TO FIX IT.... ever
