Default Donzi GT 41

Interesting new model coming out from Donzi. Anyone know when the actual boat is scheduled to be out?

I like this, sorta like the Nor Tech Monte Carlo and Radio Flyer.

Outboard reliability, speed, luxury, and performance offshore styling without being a boring center console!

There has been chatter about it for a while; a rebirth of the ZRC. But I have not seen any dates or progress other than a few renderings. RGIII posted something about it on FB some time back, but nothing further that I have seen.

I could be very interested in one in the future. I think with the new V8 outboards, there could be some really intriguing combos in the near future. Of course, one would love to have a pair of Seven-Marine motors back there; but their lowers will not stand up to the abuse of a lighter boat that will be leaving the water often.

The renderings are great...I'll avoid getting excited until we have something in the water to see.

I may be wrong but didn't someone post a couple of months ago saying it was likely to make an appearance at a poker run/show/event in early summer?

I like the idea they have it planned for simple power too. (2x350's) Suggests it should perform well without the cost of triples or Merc Racing outboards. Obviously not super quick but should still be decent.

RR

Edit: Hard to find but they say HP range 700/800/1050/1200. (Hence the twin 350's)

Finally, someone that put thought into a former go fast. I think its ridiculous when a manufacturer just clips outboards on the back of a former inboard boat and says "its storage" The Monte Carlo sorta pulled it off but the layout here with the Donzi is brilliant. Still has storage but also very usable too.

Cool design; they need to get rid of that recessed bow rail though - had one on my 38ZR and all it did was puddle up with water and bugs...
