Agreed. I read back and missed the gear ratio change. Still a bit surprised by the numbers, but I'll go with it.

the OP is from the United Kingdom and I’m from the Netherlands and I had a similar set up whit slight less hp version of the engine .
there diesel and run 3800 rpm wot there for you need to turn the big props
