28 pantera porpoise after 60
Hi all i have a twin 28 pantera that porpoises like crap after 60 if i keep drives tucked in its ok but not gettin the speed and wgen i touch the trim speed starts to climb but i have to back off due to it jumping all over the place props are 30 labbed maximus .
|
Why not a bravo? Never heard of a Maximus on a Pantera.
|
Make sure drives are trimming equally and that they are aligned (toe). Those are two easy things to check that can really affect handling when out of whack.

Do some prop testing. What power?? You should not need 5 blade props |
I had bravo 32s on and the slip was 20% the maximus seems to be the better choice for lowering the slip i beginning to think stick with the bravos and drop drives down an inch ? Engines are twin 350s

Seems to me that those props are wrong for that boat. With 5 blades it sounds like way too much pitch for small blocks and I'm wondering why you even need the 5 blades to begin with.
I'd look at working those Bravos instead of the Maximus and understand that before I started spacing down the drives. |
32s on 350s seem way tall.
