Some of you know that I had an egotistical momentary lapse in judgment, resulting in a blown engine during the FPC Tampa Bay Poker Run in March. She blew just as we were approaching the Skyway Bridge for the 'calendar shot'.

Observing their process was fascinating. Every engine gets it's own sealed rack on wheels. All parts stay with the cart, which is covered daily to avoid misplacement or cannibalism.
What would've taken a matter of days or weeks turned into a few months. Why, might you ask, it's the custom parts inside. Had to order custom pistons, crank, and more. Oil pan was also hard to find.

One of the cylinders had to be honed and sleeved.

They pressure test all headers whenever you come in (if applicable). Cleaned up some potential leaks and on they go!
(She's showing me some leg. She's been waiting almost 2 months to get back on the water.)
