Default In Simple Praise of Plain White Boats

Sometimes the absence of color on a catamaran or V-bottom is truly beautiful, https://www.offshoreonly.com/article...in-white-boats.

Yeah I prefer White especially in Florida, easy for the kids to crawl around on the boat and not get burnt

Here is a 35 Cigarette Mistress that was originally red and it just finished a total restoration to pure white everywhere.

Always been a all white fan as well. As Dean stated it really helps in FL with the sun and heat, also it is always classic and clean. Never goes out of style.

I wholeheartedly agree! I love the stormtrooper SV29 I would do some shady stuff to be able to own that boat.

I will never understand why every painter or buyer feels the need to make some of these beautiful hulls look like they crashed into the paint truck. Most of them don't even respect the lines of the hull when they do the paint jobs. The sharpest boats are the ones with the simplest paint jobs, that DCB in the article is amazing!

Paint on boats (IMO) has been overdone for years. It is an art form and credit to those who do the incredible work but for me, 'Less is more'. I love to see the amazing paint jobs, fantastic for getting noticed, stand out at shows, display the talent of the artists but I wouldn't want it on my boat.

Probably just a sign of the times and proof I'm stuck in my own time warp, happy to read a few more positive comments on here, I'm not alone...!

Huge on white or simple classy paint jobs. Just ordered my new white Ford truck. The truck I just sold was white. My van is white. Never been big on the kitchen sink paint jobs.
