Never heard of it.

Thanks for posting it.

*EDIT*

Just watched it and do remember seeing it before.

One of the main characters in the movie, Mickey Munday, wasnt he co-owner/creator of Powerplay?

From what I can tell, Brownies book tells the most accurate story ( in no particular order&#128521 of offshore boating/racing.
Don was more the poster child/front man/ shrewd business mans than creator.
He paid other people to do his heavy lifting in a sport that already existed.

right, he was not the guy designing and doing layups, I am sure he had input, just like guys think Fountain is all Reggie, it is not, he had a guy that made fountains fast... I think very few owners actually are the hands on of builders.

I own a Cigarette, I love the boat and it is well built, but it was a team not one man.

I don't think Mickie Munday had anything to do with Powerplay. Danny Weinstein was the founder.

Mickie Munday did build boats, there is a thread about it somewhere. I think his life was in complete turmoil/on the run from the Feds while Powerplay was taking off.

Hey full force and twin - u two know 0 - go find and buy a piece of land and build a factory with your own mony - never mind 1 plug - then go race and see how u do - ha
the man was a legitimate once in a lifetime American icon and hero - no equals yesterday or today
Brownie is bluster with no 1 to contradict him - he owes his boating life to Don as do 1000s of others including an entire South Florida Cuban-American population - w/o Don, there is no international love for offshore powerboats - others did the "heavy lifting" - ha - ignorant statement -
Sunny Miller is one u can listen to - the others are still wondering how he did it and y it wasn't them -
coming to Miami in 61 and changing the world by 1970 - Please - its hard to give credit to others but here, this man deserves very accolade known to man
