Default Bennett Trim Tab NMEA 2000

i have a set on my 400ss with an indicator on the dash... I want to get rid of the indicator and have this displayed on my garmin 7612. Has anyone done this? How hard was the install? The kit isn’t very expensive but it haven’t ever had to mess with this system.

Have not installed the NEMA setup but did install the Auto Trim Pro (ATP) which uses the same hinges and rods in the tabs. The install was easy enough, and instructions were clear. Will need some 3M 4200 to reseal

Edit: If your trim tab pump is hard to get to this will be a problem when refilling reservoir, if easy to get to then no issue

Thanks Alindquist for the info. This solves my problem of adding indicators to the tabs on my Scarab 300 this summer.

Thanks for the info... I looked back through some pictures and I see my tabs have 2 set of rams per tab. I'm not sure if that changes things. I'm going to try to call bennett today.

Update:

Bennett said I would need to use this:
https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/35609#overview
but I would also need to replace the Port & Stbd Upper Hinge Sensor Coils & Sensor Rods for your Bennett Actuators. I read through the installation instruction on the Garmin and it shows a wire diagram that looks the same as the indicator that I have now. Here is a picture of the indicator. I'm confused as it seems this information is already getting to the indicator. Can I put the current indicator behind the dash and just jump the wires to the Garmin?
