Building insterest in thatt boat. Will shop for used since they dont build them anymore.
For those who have knowlage about Envision:
I have read that they used no coring in the hull. Only solid thick fiberglass. Correct? For all years? What about the stringers?
I have also noticed comments about listing issues... how realy bad is it? Something that could be corrected with self leveling tabs?
Are they really as good as people claim in the rough?
Also wondering why they sold the singles with bravo one’s? Would think they would perform better with a bravo 3 that would probably correct part of the listing issues?
anyone know these boats well?
thanks

I owned a 32 Envision for about 12 years and hundreds of hours. It was the open bow mid cuddly and had a single 502 mag with a bravo 1 (WAAAAY better than a 454). It was a great boat that preformed very well on Lake of the Ozarks, what can be a very rough lake. I would not be afraid of them being out of business, as besides maybe glass, you would never really need any “factory” parts.
There are ALLOT of very clean Envisions at Lake of the Ozarks. If you do a search, you will find plenty, but you may also want to call Ed at Big Thunder Marine, or Brett at Performance Boat Center.

To get to 50, you need to be VERY light. We did most of our cruising at about 38mph. It seemed like that was where everything was the happiest, and it rode the best. I never really figured any mpg. The Envision is not fast, but will give you a very good ride. Pulling the original graphics (stickers) off is a great way to make it look 15 years newer.

You are correct in that they are a non-cored boat. I looked at buying a new one back in the early 2000's and they actually had a cutout of the hull at the keel showing all the layers of solid glass (it was pretty damn thick). The salesperson at Port Arrowhead Marine even walked across the face of the windshield on the demo boat to show how tough they were (lol!). I was looking at a single-engine 29. I've not noticed or heard of any listing problems. That could be a weight distribution problem on the boat in question.
