A few of the OB’s seem like their almost underwater. Maybe it’s the angle of the boat and picture.

Cool hull, not a fan of these monster stacks of engines.

Don't most of the big Cigarette get sold in Europe lately? I'd think it's more of a diesel market there vs. outboard.

You hit the nail on the head, try to put the tabs down to stick the nose on rough water or even to run a a slow speed, outside props start cavitating, same in rough seas. Obviously money is not an issue this would be a much nicer boat with 4 627's. Or a pair of 1100 Mercs.

Probably should wait until seeing more specs, beam and weight, but I'll guess trim tabs aren't a big necessity. There's near 4000lbs bolted on the back and 6 cav plates. I don't think that's gonna get the back end out of the water or lift the bow up excessively. It's probably got huge tanks (more weight) and I can't see it moving much except in big seas. May even be a candidate for a Seakeeper in lieu of trim tabs?

The computer-generated imagery video is both spectacular, unique and cutting edge. Always fun when market leaders dare to break new ground on all levels. Here's a company that does almost everything right, so I got to ask, WHY 50th? Now, let's see if the Cigarette Racing Team brass, got the brass balls, it at this stage takes, to admit that 2019 is the year for the Cigarette Racing Team company to celebrate its 49th anniversary, not its 50th? Heck, they might even sell some boats here on 'The Left Coast' if they did a 49th Anniversary Edition for us. We can't really relate to what used to be our Scarab boats anymore and the truth is that we are fond of the number 49.
Hoping the 50th anniversary does sell boats (for selfish reasons). Their 188th Street editions continue to sell well.r
