Default cabins, does anybody really use them?

ive decided to trade in my boat for, what else bigger and faster cig... but lately in the new boat decision process cabin ammenities (head fridge ac micro/cooktop)have been, PLEASE forgive me, steering away from cigarette !

a 38 fountain sc w/ ac would be nice for nights at PIB (or a top gun and a nice hotel room !)
but its to slow for poker runs and you have to wait for the bridge by shooters to go up

a donzi 33 has a nice cabin and has the speed but its just not a cig!

so are these amenities worth not owning the one and only?

LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!

I can only speak for myself but after owning another boat with a stove, head ect... I can say I never used that stuff. I barely use the Cover Girl cabin on the Cig. The more stuff you have in the cabin the more there is to break. It all depends what type of boating you do I guess.My.02

I wouldn't let the cabin swing the decision one way or another...Get what you really want. How often do you use your current cabin...what would you lose by moving up?

Default Hell yes I use mine!

To me there's nothing quite as nice as waking up in a nice quiet cove with the sun coming up and the mist still on the water. Hotel rooms are nice, but I prefer to find a nice secluded cove, drop anchor, have a few cold ones and a sandwich from the fridge, and then wake up the next morning - already on the water and ready to go! I wish I could afford a go-fast with MORE cabin!

To each his own. Some folks pefer to be day-boaters. Nothing wrong with that!

Ted,

We used the cabin on the Cafe Racer this summer for a 3 day weekend...slept on it and everything...but of course there is no fridge or stove. The enclosed head is a nice feature and we made sure that we stayed at places that had shower facilities. Stay with Cigarette...you'll be happier in the long run because of the ride...not the amenities.

I used my cabin to sell the wife on the boat. A newer boat with a Covergirl cabin would be fine with me.

All I use is the enclosed head and the fridge, after several trips to the fridge I need to use the head Never sleep on it anymore.
