Thanks everyone for all the advise. Good stuff. I think I know how to do and what I’m going to do know. Going to pick up 4 of the prefab L brackets and mount a stainless 49” x 15 x 15 box nearly level with the bottom of the trailer frame (not hanging lower. It’ll be mounted opposite of the spare tire so no dual tires. I still have to see if my south Florida trailer is a bolt on spindle or solid. Then I’ll figure out the spindle situation.

What boxes are those? I mounted mine in the exact same spot, but mine are side opening and one of them leaks anytime it gets into the water. I want to swap them both for top opening boxes like that.

Myco build the trailer with the ladder at the bow? I'd actually like to have a ladder too LOL Cant find a pre-fab one anywhere.

I've only found a few searching around under ' Boat trailer bow steps '

Here is one:

I did see that one. It's just not high enough. I think the only way is to have someone custom make one. I like these set ups. I think it would be beneficial to not have to crawl up onto the swimstep to get on the boat while it's on the trailer.

That Sport trail one looks cool. :)

Years ago, on OSO, I saw a pic of a ladder attached to the swing arm of the outdrive guard part of trailer. I thought that was cool if someone has this type of trailer..
