So...I decided to buy brand new props and still got f*cked...overnighted it for a poker run. dings in the RH hub. unreal...guessing I shouldn’t complain about this either, because I whine too much. lol.

No, it’s not right. If the issue was brought up in a few weeks the complaint would be completely valid.
That’s not whining especially with brand new parts. I actually sympathize a great deal for you and as someone that had left parts in a box too long I can relate to the frustration of not getting what you thought you were buying. If you had just checked them within a few weeks of receiving them, and particularly before using them I’d bet almost everyone would be on your side.

That sucks. I bought two new 22 P B1s last year. Merc QC sucks. One prop was 21.1P, the other was 21.9P. One had the casting points at the tips of the blades rounded off, the other left them on. One had some cupping on the blades, the other had absolutely no cupping. Took them to FJ propeller at LOTO and now they are perfectly matched and balanced. And now both engines run the same RPM at WOT, where there use to be 200 RPM difference. FJ did a great job. Definitely worth the cost to make them right.

Depends on how much you decide to do to them. I ended up cutting off 3/4th inch of the diffuser ring and balancing each blade to within 1/10th of a degree of each other. Added some cup to carry the nose a little better and had them sharpen the blade edges, but didn't want a full thinning of the blades. 440 each.
