How do I post a video?
Maybe too big of file?
Over 30 seconds long.
Do I need to host it somewhere like we used to w/pics?

I make the Put-in-Bay run once or twice a year from north Lake St. Clair. Been caught in nasty Lake Erie water several times but once had to cross from PIB to the Detroit River in 6-8s. That's not my estimate but came from talking to other boaters in the harbor! I had to idle all the way to the river over these giant waves with water coming over the bow, but not into the boat, in every trough. It took hours and would have ended badly had I lost power and turned sideways to the waves. This is a 22' boat mind you!

I used to have a 251 and would never think of taking it to Lake Erie.
I took my 34 SCARAB there for a week many years ago and I will tell you that that lake gets rough. Washboard stuff coming from all directions.
I tried to keep up with a big ferry for about ten minutes and gave up.
That Scarab would handle rough stuff but there were days I had to take it easy.

North Bass docks are on S end of island in a tiny harbor and is shallow.
25’ boats were OK but I’d consider 30’ max and pushing it.
Saw 3’ on depth finder but no mud behind boat.
I was watching.
Ive had our 32’ Marinette back there.
The best parts of the island may be anchorages for day trips.
SE and SW corners.
Map of island shows a horseshoe bay on SW corner that looks intriguing.
Careful on SE though as there is a nasty shoal beside it.
On video, YouTube has changed since last video I loaded (15 yrs ago) and spent 15 mins trying last night.
Unsuccesfully.
