There are so many marine engine builders in Michigan it's really hard to choose. EVERYONE has good and bad reviews so really hard to go by those. To build them correctly the price is going to end up being close with no matter who you go with. Drastically lower estimates will either end up costing more before or after the build is finished LOL! Make some calls and visit some shops and see who you get along with the best.

Nobody mentioned that place in North Miami, you know the best used parts money can buy?
When Darr returns expect a 2 paragraph reply on what builder he thinks is the best for his supercat motors or whatever nonsense is going on in his head.

Wow thanks guys for all the replies! Every time I start scrolling through threads on this forum I learn a ton of new info.
I don't want to spend $200,000+ on new power, just looking to make these current bowties (even) more reliable. Waiting on Frank to call me back and will discuss his workload and thoughts on the rebuilds. Sterling is still on the table.
Thanks again.

Sterling has has had some bad luck on the runs and yea it doesn’t look good when he breaks. Broke a snout off on a whipple last run nothing to do with he’s builds, just bad luck.
