NT considers themselves "Semi-Custom" and I think that's an accurate assessment of their boat builds.
Nils is a genius and can make anything happen, they dread when a customer happens to interact w/ him & he says "yea I can do that"
Couple that w/ all the internal updates and redesign work they have in the works & I can see why they hate to tell customers no but must do so in many cases otherwise their annual production will be way down.
Nils & the gang have helped make many things happen for me over the years, some have become standard, others now offered as options.
Modify telescoping ladder to accommodate 380 K-Planes
U shape bow seating w/ a fill cushion
Bow lounger w/ lumbar support
Hinged cabin berth extension
Carbon Fiber in place of cabin lexan
Shore power connection at helm
Windlass delete, add Fortress storage

You certainly have upped the ante for Nor-tech! And truly, they should keep offering new styles/designs and custom pieces for us consumers.

I have certainly been occupied on my new, unbelievable, vessel. It's amazing, and yes this is the first boat that I personally have owned. I love it.
