Why are prices of gladiators up about $60k over couple years ago? I respect someone trying to get the most out of their boat but I feel a real buyer just won't spend that but maybe I'm wrong.

Basic economics. Supply vs demand. If they don't sell, prices go down. When in demand, prices go up.
What you want is not what may be happening. If you want, you pay or don't. Your choice?
Pretty Philosophical, but basic economics.

Most of the Gladiators have been updated that are for sale with newer or rebuilt power and drivetrain. Not many were built. The TS market on Cigarettes is strong. Especially since the past 4-5 years, Cigarettes focus and sales has been towards Center Consoles like everyone else. The New price tag on a NEW Machine is really high, so the demand for clean, well built, newly powered and updated used machines is driving the market pricing. I think the cheapest TS Cigarette Top Gun out there for sale is around 105K and needs motors rebuilt, paint work, interior, dash help. Plus not many Sitdown (Some Staggered) boats built by any manufactures. Hotrod Styling.

The spotlight performance dealers, we all cruise their sites to see what they have for sale, rotate their stock at a fast pace. Well cared for, low hour, Merc powered performance boats are in high demand. Many sell before they even hit the listings by the dealers.
